Union, N.J. – Stockton University (6-0-5, 1-0-2 NJAC) continued its outstanding defensive play in a 0-0 tie at Kean University (2-6-2, 0-2-1 NJAC) that was the eighth consecutive shutout for the Ospreys. Stockton also boosted its unbeaten streak to 11 games since the start of the season.
Morgan Keil (Upper Twp./Holy Spirit) made two saves for her eighth shutout of the year. Keil has not allowed a goal in 784:30 between the posts this season. As a team, Stockton has a shutout streak of 724:33 since it's only goal against this year, which came on September 6.
The Ospreys had a 9-2 advantage in shots on goal, with seven coming in the second half, however Kean goalie Abigail Wing stopped all nine.
Erica Dietz (Allentown, Pa./Central Catholic) led all players with five shot attempts and three shots on goal. The Cougars hit a post in the 68th minute.
Stockton will play a non-conference game at King's College (Pa.) on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.
