Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University senior Khristina Washington (Hammonton/Hammonton) was chosen NJAC Field Athlete of the Week for the week of January 8-14. Washington received an NJAC weekly award for the first time in her career.
 
Washington competed in two events in the TCNJ Indoor Invitational at New York Armory on Friday. The senior finished fifth out of 29 competitors in the triple jump with a distance of 11.05 meters that was just four centimeters off her personal best. She was the top NCAA Division III finisher in the event.
 
Washington also placed 10th out of 28 overall and fourth among 16 from Division III in the long jump with a mark of 4.96 meters.
 
Washington has been competing for Stockton in indoor and outdoor track & field since December 2021. She has earned a total of nine NJAC all-conference honors and five all-region accolades from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) in her career thus far.
 
The Ospreys will compete in the Moravian Invitational, which is being held at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pa. on Saturday.
