Galloway, NJ – Stockton University (5-5-4, 2-2-1 NJAC) saw their four match unbeaten streak end with a 2-0 loss to Rowan University (6-4-5, 3-0-2 NJAC) on Wednesday night.
Antonio Matos (Hammonton/St. Augustine Prep) had two of the three shots on net on the night for the Ospreys. Rowan is ranked #23 by the United Soccer Coaches.
The Profs scored both of their goals in the first half, by Johnny Troiano. His first tally came at 2:29, then at 22:45. The Rowan defense shut down Stockton in the second half, allowing just one shot in the final 45 minutes of play.

Brady Bartletta (Hainesport/Rancocas Valley) made two saves in the defeat.
Dylan Aportela kicked out three shots for the Profs in the shutout.
Stockton will play the first of two straight road matches, when the Ospreys travel to Mahwah, NJ on Saturday to face Ramapo College. Game time is scheduled for 1 pm.
