Mahwah, NJ – October 19, 2024 – Stockton University (5-5-5, 2-2-2 NJAC) battled to a 0-0 draw against Ramapo College (8-2-4, 3-1-2 NJAC) in a tightly contested matchup on Saturday afternoon.
The Ospreys showcased strong offensive pressure, recording a total of 16 shots, including 11 in the second half, while Ramapo managed only six shots in that same period.
Uche Wokocha (Galloway/St. Augustine Prep) led the charge for Stockton with six shots, four of which tested Ramapo goalkeeper Nikolai Matthews, who made seven saves to keep the Ospreys off the scoreboard.
Despite dominating possession and earning six corner kicks in the second half, the Ospreys couldn't convert their chances into goals.
Stockton's defense was equally impressive, with
Brady Bartletta (Hainesport, NJ/Rancocas Valley) making five saves to secure his fourth clean sheet of the season. The Ospreys survived a scare in the 26th minute when a Ramapo shot hit the post.
Stockton will look to get back into the win column when they play at Rutgers-Newark on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
