Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University (8-6, 1-1 NJAC) scored twice in the first 12 minutes and rolled to a 5-1 victory over Ramapo (3-11, 0-3 NJAC). The Ospreys evened their conference record with the win.
Kirsten Bailey (Burlington Twp./Burlington Twp.) led Stockton with two goals and an assist.
Carlee Thompson (Gibbsboro/Eastern Regional) chipped in with a goal and an assist.
Bailey got the offense going by converting a penalty stroke 8:27 into the game for an early 1-0 lead. Just over three minutes later,
EB Rafferty (Morrisville, Pa./Pennsbury) potted her first goal of the season with a nifty redirection of a pass by
Ameera Bilgrami (Voorhees/Eastern Regional) for a 2-0 advantage.
Bailey netted her team-high ninth goal of the season by floating a wrist shot into the top of the cage 47 seconds into the second quarter. Thompson assisted on Bailey's marker and then scored her fifth of the year later in the period for a commanding 4-0 lead.
In the third quarter,
Makayla Alessi (Manahawkin/Southern Regional) tipped in feed from Bailey to make it 5-0 with her third goal of the season. Morgan Trotter spoiled the shutout with a tally for the Roadrunners in the fourth quarter and Stockton cruised to the 5-1 triumph.

Erika Roura (Mt. Laurel/Lenape) earned the win with five saves. Michelle Kukan finished with seven stops in net for Ramapo. The Ospreys held advantages of 26-8 in shot attempts and 17-1 in penalty corners.
Stockton will be on the road on Wednesday for a conference game at The College of New Jersey at 4:00 p.m.
