Stockton Adds to Win and Shutout Streaks, 4-0

Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University (6-5) extended its winning streak to five games and shutout streak to four straight with a 4-0 victory over FDU-Florham (5-5) on Saturday afternoon. Olivia Catalano (Cinnaminson/Cinnaminson) led the Ospreys with a goal and an assist.

Catalano set up Riley DeMarco (Hammonton/Cedar Creek) in the first quarter for the only goal that Stockton would need. Catalano then netted her third marker of the year in the second quarter and freshman Kylee Donegan (Shamong/Seneca) collected her first career point with the assist.

Stockton broke the game open with two goals 2:17 apart in the fourth quarter. Kirsten Bailey (Burlington Twp./Burlington Twp.) potted her team-leading fifth tally of the season from right in front with an assist by Dakota Ludman (Cape May CH/Middle Twp.).

Kiera Lyons (Manahawkin/Southern Regional) capped the 4-0 triumph by scoring her fourth goal of the year with 3:34 left in the game. Freshman Kayla Dever (Mullica Hill/Camden Catholic) notched her first career point with the assist.

Defenders Ameera Bilgrami (Voorhees/Eastern Regional), Kaelin Drey (Boyertown, Pa./Boyertown) and Makayla Alessi (Manahawkin/Southern Regional) kept the Devils at bay. Stockton goaltender Erika Roura (Mt. Laurel/Lenape) responded when called upon with four saves for her fourth consecutive shutout.

Bailey also chipped in defensively with her team-high third defensive save of the season in the fourth quarter to help Roura and the Ospreys extend their personal and team shutout streaks to 257:25 since they last allowed a goal.

FDU-Florham goalie Adrianna Goodwin came off the bench in the second quarter and made seven saves in 34:36 of game action. Allie Serio contributed a defensive save for the Devils.

Stockton will be home again on Tuesday when the Ospreys host Eastern University at 5:00 p.m.
