Results
Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University hosted the NCAA Region V (Metro) Regionals and finished sixth out of 25 teams. The five scoring runners for the Ospreys all finished in the top 51 spots out of 182 runners in the race. Stockton finished in the top six at NCAA Regionals for the fourth straight year.
Kayla Kass (Bayonne/Bayonne) placed 22nd with a time of 23:19.8 for six kilometers. Kass moved up 12 spots in the last 1.35 kilometers.
Amanda McNally (Tabernacle/Seneca) also moved up 12 spots in the final 1.35K and ran a personal-best 23:29.2 for 30th place. By finishing in the top 35, Kass and McNally qualified for all-region honors.
Rachel Hayes (Marlboro/St. John Vianney) was the next Osprey finisher in 36th place with a time of 23:44.3.
Jaelyn Barkley (Hope/Belvidere) followed for Stockton in 48th place at 24:12.1 and
Guinevere Kennedy (South Amboy/South Amboy) finished 51st with a time of 24:15.7.
The NCAA Regionals were the final meet of the season for the Ospreys.
