Galloway, NJ – Stockton University (3-1) led wire-to-wire capturing a 72-58 victory over FDU-Florham 2-4) on Wednesday night.
Imene Fathi (Wildwood/Wildwood) led four Ospreys in double figures with 19 points.

Stockton opened up the game scoring 12 of the first 18 points in the contest, led by
Brianna Robinson (Cape May Court House/Middle Twp.) with four of the markers, on the way to a 22-16 first period lead.

The Ospreys extended the margin to 43-33 at the break, on the strength on five points each in the second frame by Fathi and
Katie Rausch (Monmouth Junction/South Brunswick).

The Devils made a run at the home team in the third period, closing the gap to six at 51-45 with 23 seconds left in the third quarter, but that was as close as the visitors would get. A three ball by Fathi made the lead 54-45 at the end of three.

The game was tightened up by the Devils getting to within seven at 60-53 at 5:33, but Stockton pulled away with an 11-0 run in just over three minutes to salt the game away.

ChiChi Wokocha (Galloway/Absegami) set career highs with 11 points and six rebounds, while Rausch and
Grace Speer (Estell Manor/ACIT) added 10 markers each with Speer grabbing a game-high 10 rebounds, with seven on the offensive glass, for her first double-double of the season.

Shannon Tighe led the Devils with 17 points while teammates Julia Vazquez and Kolby Lynch added 15 points each.

Stockton will play two more home games, starting Saturday when the Ospreys will face Albright College. Tip-off is set for 2 pm.
