Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University (2-0) scored the first five goals of the game and kept pulling away for an impressive 15-6 win over University of Scranton (1-3). Ten Stockton players scored in a balanced offensive performance by the Ospreys.
Reegan Capozzoli (Wayne/Wayne Valley) potted a game-high four goals and became the 15th player in Stockton history to reach the 100-goal plateau for his career.
Colin Hopkins (Springfield, Pa./Springfield Delco) contributed two goals and an assist.
Connor Albrecht (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks West) tallied two goals and an assist while freshman
Alex DeLierre (Basking Ridge/Bridgewater-Raritan) chipped in with a goal and two assists.
Tyler Horvath (Chalfont, Pa./Central Bucks South) had a huge night, winning 20 of 23 faceoffs and grabbing 15 ground balls.
Goals by DeLierre, Capozzoli, Hopkins and Albrecht staked Stockton to a 4-0 lead in the first quarter.
Hayden Smallwood (Margate/Ocean City) made it 5-0 early in the second period before Scranton got on the board. Capozzoli hit the 100-goal mark with his second of the night on the way to an 8-4 lead at the half.
Stockton added to its lead with three straight markers in the first five minutes of the third stanza for an 11-4 advantage. The Ospreys led 12-5 after three quarters and cruised to the 15-6 triumph.

Colin Bernstein (Warrington, Pa./Central Bucks South) earned the win with seven saves while his counterpart Declan Allen finished with 12 stops. Kyle Holmes and Matthew McAree scored three goals apiece for the Royals.
Stockton will continue its four-game homestand on Saturday when the Ospreys host Maritime College at 1:00 p.m.
