Galloway, NJ – Stockton University (3-0) extended their season opening win streak with a dominant 20-1 victory over Delaware Valley (1-1) on Wednesday afternoon. 10 Ospreys hit the net led by
Mary McLaughlin (Somers Point/Mainland) and
Mary Meduri (Brigantine/OLMA) with four tallies each.
Stockton wasted no time in getting on the board as
Emily Deworsop (Monroe Twp./Monroe Twp.) scored just 41 seconds into the match. McLaughlin and Meduri scored twice with
Lucy Sullivan (Lafayette Hill, PA/Plymouth Whitemarsh) adding another marker for a 6-0 lead after one frame.
After the Aggies scored to open the second period, the Ospreys tallied six unassisted goals, with a pair by Mclaughlin topping the squad. Freshman
Madison MacGillivray (Forked River/Lacey Twp.) scored her first career goal in the stanza.
Stockton scored the final eight goals in the game in the second half as
Margot Costello (South Brunswick/South Brunswick) scored three times,
Noelle Murphy (Manalapan/Manalapan) chipped in with two goals and two assists, and MacGillivary adding another goal and her first career assist on Meduri's fourth tally of the contest.
Murphy, Sullivan, and
Isabella Marinello (West Caldwell/Caldwell) dished two helpers in in the rout.

Drew Coxson (Lancaster, PA/Chatham) and
Gina Marotta (Montville/Montville) all scooped four ground balls, with Coxson and Meduri causing three turnovers each.
Daniela Elliott (Wayne/Wayne Valley) made four saves in net for the win.
For the Aggies, Ashley Birmingham scored the lone goal and topped all players with six caused turnovers. Goalkeeper Emily Drake made six saves.
Stockton net game will be a road match, as the Ospreys will travel to Arlington, VA to take on Marymount University on Saturday. Game time is scheduled for 12 pm.
