Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University (13-1, 2-1 NJAC) rallied from a six-goal deficit for a stirring 11-9 victory over Montclair (7-3, 1-1 NJAC). The Ospreys netted the last six goals of the game to earn the conference win and tie the school record for victories in a season that was set in 2016.
Mary Meduri (Brigantine/OLMA) led Stockton with a game-high four goals and one assist for five points. During the game, Meduri became the third player in program history to reach the 100-goal mark.
Mary McLaughlin (Somers Point/Mainland) chipped in with three goals and an assist followed by
Brianna Robinson (Cape May CH/Middle Twp.) with two goals and an assist.
Lilly Alessandro (Jenkintown, Pa./Abington) snagged a game-high six draw controls and
Drew Coxson (Lancaster, Pa./Chatham) paced the defense with three caused turnovers plus three ground balls. Coxson set a school record with her 51st ground ball of the season.
Stockton fell behind 5-0 and later faced a 7-1 deficit in the second quarter. Goals by Robinson and Meduri started the comeback and made it 7-3 at the half.
Lucy Sullivan (Lafayette Hill, Pa./Plymouth Whitemarsh) set a new school record with her 39th assist of the season on Meduri's goal.
Meduri scored two straight markers in the third quarter to close the gap to 7-5 but Montclair answered with a pair for a 9-5 count with 14:43 left in the game. In a five-minute span, McLaughlin potted three goals and Robinson added one as Stockton forged a 9-9 tie with 5:19 on the clock.
Meduri gave Stockton its first lead of the game, assisted by
Anissa Serafine (Tabernacle/OLMA), with 3:26 to play and Serfine added an insurance goal with an assist by Meduri 57 seconds later to complete the six-goal run that gave the Ospreys the thrilling 11-9 triumph.

Daniela Elliott (Wayne/Wayne Valley) made five saves to earn the win. Montclair goalie Joey Grotkopf finished with 12 stops. Amra Lukovic paced the Red Hawks with three goals and Kaeley Sek scored twice.
Stockton's next game will be at Rowan University on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m.
