Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University (5-2, 2-1 NJAC) won every match for a 9-0 conference victory over Rutgers-Camden (7-6, 1-2 NJAC).
Carlee Cristella (Mantua/Clearview) and
Jamie Theophall (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) shut out their opponents 8-0 in doubles.
The duos of
Sophia Pasquale (Galloway/Holy Spirit) and
Kierstyn Fenimore (Tabernacle/Seneca) and
Gabrielle Alexandre (Woodbridge/Mother Seton) and
Rocio Lucero (West New York/Memorial) both won 8-4.
In singles, Alexandre posted a 6-0, 6-0 shutout while Lucero and Cristella won by scores of 6-0, 6-1 and 6-1, 6-0 respectively. Fenimore cruised 6-1, 6-1 and Theophall also dropped just two games in a 6-0, 6-2 triumph. Pasquale completed the singles sweep with a 6-2, 6-1 win.
Stockton will travel to New York City tomorrow to face Pratt Institute at 1:00 p.m.
