Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University (6-3, 3-2 NJAC) finished the regular season with a 9-0 victory over Kean University (8-4, 1-4 NJAC) in a conference match at home.
Lauren Theophall (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) and
Rocio Lucero (West New York/Memorial) led the way in doubles with an 8-0 shutout.
Kierstyn Fenimore (Tabernacle/Seneca) and
Sophia Pasquale (Galloway/Holy Spirit) cruised to an 8-1 win while
Carlee Cristella (Mantua/Clearview) and
Jamie Theophall (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) won the closest doubles match 8-4.
Cristella posted a 6-0, 6-0 shutout in singles while
Jamie Theophall and Fenimore dropped just one game apiece in 6-0, 6-1 victories. Lucero collected a 6-2, 6-0 win while Pasquale and
Lauren Theophall prevailed by scores of 6-3, 6-1 and 6-1, 6-3 respectively.
Stockton will be the No. 3 seed for the NJAC Tournament and play at No. 2 seed Ramapo College on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.
