Glassboro, N.J. – Stockton University (13-10, 4-1 NJAC) jumped out to a four-run lead and went on to defeat 11th-ranked Rowan University (13-7, 1-4 NJAC) by a 5-2 score. The Ospreys outhit the Profs 9-7 and stole three bases in the victory.
Tony Gatti (Howell/Howell) led the offense as he went 3-5 with a run and a stolen base.
Evan Bresnen (Allentown/Steinert) continued his torrid hitting pace with two safeties for his ninth multi-hit game during his current 10-game hitting streak.
Stockton got on the board with a sacrifice fly by
Jordan Nitti (Hamilton/Steinert) that scored Gatti in the top of the first. The Ospreys broke the game open with three runs in the fourth inning.
Tucker Elder (Ewing/Ewing) singled home two runs and then scored on a Rowan error to make it 4-0.
Rowan cut the margin in half with two runs in the sixth frame before Stockton added an insurance run when
Max Kaplan (Wall/Wall) was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in the top of the ninth for the final marker in the 5-2 triumph.
Three Osprey pitchers held the Profs in check. Starter
Zack McCabe (Jackson/Jackson Memorial) allowed two runs on four hits in 6.1 innings of work for his second win of the season.

Kyle Cipolla (Westwood/Westwood) tossed 0.2 innings, closer
Reece Miller (Toms River/TR East) hurled two scoreless frames with three strikeouts and one hit allowed for his fourth save of the season.
