Newport News, Va. – Stockton University (0-1-1) concluded its two-game trip to Virginia with a 0-0 tie at Christopher Newport (1-0-1), which is in the Also Receiving Votes category of the United Soccer Coaches Division III poll.
 
Stockton goalkeeper Brady Bartletta (Hainesport/Rancocas Valley) made four saves to earn his first shutout of the season. Shot attempts were 16-5 in favor of Christopher Newport and shots on goal were a 4-1 advantage for the Captains. Five Ospreys were credited with one shot apiece.
 
Stockton will have a week off before hosting Notre Dame of Maryland University next Saturday, September 7 at 3:00 p.m.
