University Heights, Ohio – Stockton University (1-2-2) played the first of its two games at the Cleveland Classic and fell 3-0 to John Carroll University (4-1), which is in the Also Receiving Votes section of the latest United Soccer Coaches poll.

Brady Bartletta (Hainesport/Rancocas Valley) made five saves for the Ospreys, however the Blue Streaks scored a pair of goals 11:17 apart in the first half and added one more in the second half.
Joseph Carbone (Pequannonck/Pequannock) was credited with two of Stockton's three shot attempts, all of which came in the first half. Dylan Halm scored twice for John Carroll.
Stockton will have an off day tomorrow and then conclude its two-game stint at the Cleveland Classic by playing at Case Western Reserve on Sunday at noon.
