Stockton Ties William Paterson 1-1

Wayne, N.J. – Stockton University (5-2-2, 0-0-1 NJAC) began conference play with a 1-1 tie at William Paterson (3-3-3, 0-0-1 NJAC) on Saturday afternoon. The draw extended Stockton's unbeaten streak to five games (4-0-1).
 
Rylee Getter (Galloway/Absegami) netted the equalizer for the Ospreys with just one second remaining in the first half. The goal was Getter's second of the season, and sophomore transfer Erin Lally (Lumberton/Rancocas Valley) notched her first career point with the assist.
 
Stockton held a commanding 15-2 advantage in shot attempts, however just a 4-2 edge in shots on goal. Logan Shaw (Hainesport/Rancocas Valley) rang a shot off the post with 7:50 remaining in the match.
 
The Ospreys fell behind 1-0 on a penalty kick by Hailey Nelson 17 minutes into the game. The goal was the first allowed by Stockton in 396:06 and also ended a 293:41 personal scoreless streak for goalkeeper Morgan Keil (Upper Twp./Holy Spirit).
 
A red card left Stockton a player short for the last 9:34 and the game ended in a 1-1 tie. Keil finished with one save and Sarah Mantilla made three stops for William Paterson.
