Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University won the Stockton Fall Invitational at Blue Heron Pines Golf Club by 39 strokes with a team score of 391 on Sunday afternoon. Albright finished second with 430 followed by Arcadia with 449. Three of Stockton's four scorers shot career-best rounds.
Elenora Byrne (Princeton Jct./West Windsor-Plainsboro South) led the Ospreys with a 91 for third place out of 15 golfers. After three pars and a 51 on the front nine, Byrne raised her game with a four-over 40 on the back nine that featured a birdie on the 18th hole as well as four pars.
Freshman
Sophia Mazowski (Vineland/Vineland) shot a career-best 99 for fifth place. Mazowski opened with a par and a birdie on the first two holes and later parred the ninth hole to cap a 48 on the front nine.

Zoe Grom (Stony Point, N.Y./North Rockland) established a new career best with a 100 that included three pars. Grom finished sixth out of 15.

Kylie Hague (Vineland/Vineland) followed with a career-best 101 for seventh place to complete Stockton's quartet of scorers. Hague made one birdie and one par during her round.
Newcomer
Ava Kinkler (Northfield/Mainland) played her first collegiate tournament and finished eighth with a 106.
Nataly Castro (Galloway/Absegami) and
Ellen Hartshaw (Lehighton, Pa./King's Christian) were 10th and 11th with 113 and 120 respectively. Hartshaw's score was a career best.
Stockton will finish its fall season by playing in the inaugural Colonial Women's Golf Conference Championship at Wyncote Golf Club in Oxford, Pa. on October 27-28.
