Ospreys of the Week: October 13-19, 2025

Women's Golf
Elenora Byrne (Princeton Jct./West Windsor-Plainsboro South) led the Ospreys this week, with a 91, placing third out of 15 golfers at the Stockton Fall Invitational. Byrne shot a 51 on the front nine and then raised her game with a four-over 40 on the back nine that featured a birdie on the 18th hole as well as four pars..
 
Freshman Sophia Mazowski (Vineland/Vineland) shot her career-best 99 for fifth place at the Stockton Fall Invitational. Mazowski opened with a par and a birdie on the first two holes and later parred the ninth hole to cap a 48 on the front nine.
 
Women's Cross Country
Kayla Kass (Bayonne/Bayonne) led Stockton with 38th place out of 296 runners in a time of 22:39.6 for six kilometers at the Rowan Border Battle. This time by Kass was the third fastest ever by an Osprey women's runner at Dream Park. Kass led the Ospreys to 11th place out of 31 teams.
 
Rachel Hayes (Marlboro/St. John Vianney) finished 48th in the Rowan Border Battle with a time of 22:46.3 that was the fourth fastest ever by a Stockton runner at Dream Park, and the fifth time that an Osprey has run under 23 minutes at Dream Park. 
 
Men's Cross Country
Conor Clifford (Monmouth Beach/CBA) paced Stockton by finishing 45th out of 327 runners in the Rowan Border Battle with a time of 25:45.4 for eight kilometers. Clifford's time was the second fastest ever by an Osprey men's runner at Dream Park.
 
Josh Corsentino placed 54th in the Rowan Border Battle with a time of 25:50.1 that was the fifth fastest ever by a Stockton runner at Dream Park. Corsentino topped his time from Dream Park last year by 30 seconds.
 
Women's Soccer
Makayla Jaffe (Middletown/Middletown South) registered eight shots and put away the decisive goal in the 29th minute of Stockton's 1-0 victory over Ramapo. The goal was Jaffe's fifth of the season.
 
Freshman Jadelyn Sayrafe (Millstone/Allentown) added her second assist of the season on the game-winning goal, helping Stockton to a 1-0 victory versus Ramapo.
 
Volleyball
Nicole Palmer (Islip Terrace, N.Y/East Islip) led Stockton with 36 kills in three matches this week. Palmer also finished second on the squad with 23 digs and recorded a .382 hitting percentage in three victories by the Ospreys.
 
Regan Mendick (Newark, Del./Red Lion Christian) topped the team with 60 assists and added nine digs and three aces in three wins last week. Mendick picked up 22 assists against Arcadia, reaching the 2,000-assist mark for her career, being the ninth Osprey to achieve that milestone.
 
Field Hockey
Riley DeMarco (Hammonton/Cedar Creek) led the Ospreys with a hat trick and an assist for a career high of seven points in a 7-0 win versus Marywood University. DeMarco's seven points were one off the school record for points in a game.
 
Carlee Thompson (Gibbsboro/Eastern) totaled two goals and two assists for six points last week. Thompson led the way for the Ospreys with a goal and two assists versus Ramapo, bringing her totals to eight goals and seven assists on the season.
 
Men's Soccer
Kyle Birmingham (Budd Lake/Mt.Olive) achieved his first individual shutout of the season and second of his career in a 2-0 victory over Ramapo. Birmingham's goals against average over the two games last week was 0.50.
 
Ernst Louisius (Asbury Park/Neptune) scored the game-winner versus Ramapo, snapping a 0-0 tie in the 68th minute with his team-leading ninth goal of the season.
