Union, N.J. – Stockton University (7-5-7, 2-3-4 NJAC) finished the 2025 regular season with a 1-1 tie at Kean University (7-7-3, 2-5-2 NJAC). The draw, combined with other results from around the conference, gave the Ospreys the No. 6 seed for the upcoming NJAC Tournament.
The game was scoreless into the 55th minute until
Bella Bednarz (Keyport/Keyport) potted her second goal of the season to give Stockton a 1-0 edge. Bednarz was one of four Ospreys who started all 19 regular-season matches.
Stockton held the lead for just over 20 minutes until Mariaelena Torres netted the equalizer for Kean with 15:03 remaining, and the game ended in a 1-1 tie that left the Ospreys with the No. 6 seed for the NJAC Tournament.

Stockton will play its NJAC Tournament first round game at No. 3 seed The College of New Jersey on Saturday at 4:00 p.m.
