Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University (0-1) traveled south to Salisbury University (1-0) for its 2025-26 season opener and suffered an 83-74 setback. Although the Ospreys outscored the Sea Gulls by eight in the second half, their first half deficit was too much to overcome.
Eriq Campbell (West Atco/Lindenwold) led Stockton with team highs of 19 points and nine rebounds.
Justin Harper (Bridgeton/Wildwood Catholic) scored 13 points and grabbed six boards in his first game at Stockton.
Tayvon Gaither (Mt. Laurel/Lenape) shot 5-10 (50%) from the floor and added 12 points for the Ospreys.
Stockton endured an 0-14 slump from three-point range in the first half and trailed 44-27 at the break. The Ospreys chipped away in the second half and closed the gap to eight on a
Devon Johnson (Pine Hill/Overbrook) three-pointer with 3:48 on the clock.
Stockton was unable to get any closer until the final minute, and the Ospreys fell 83-74.
Jamison Graves paced Salisbury with a game-high 26 points followed by Aidan Camper with 15 points and Churchill Bounds with 13 markers.
Stockton will have a week off before playing at Gettysburg next Saturday, November 15 at 1:00 p.m.
