Galloway, N.J. - Stockton University (4-4, 3-2 NJAC) grabbed an impressive 82-59 win against Rutgers-Newark (2-8, 0-4 NJAC) in their latest matchup.
Justin Harper (Bridgeton/Wildwood Catholic) and
Devon Johnson (Pine Hill/Overbrook) led the Ospreys offensively.

Harper tied his career high of 20 points and Johnson scored a season-high 15 points. Harper and Johnson were impressive from behind the arc, with 15 of Harper's points and 12 of Johnson's points coming from three-point shots.

Andrew Crawford (Haddon Heights/Camden Catholic) was dominant on the boards, pulling down a career-high eight rebounds and scoring nine points on three three-pointers.
Tayvon Gaither (Mt. Laurel/Lenape) also contributed significantly, scoring 12 points on an efficient 5-6 shooting (83%). The Ospreys had three players finish in double digits.

For Rutgers-Newark, Ayden Brown scored 15 points and Raheem Murray added 14 points, both putting in strong performances. Despite their efforts, it wasn't enough to match Stockton's impressive play. The Ospreys outrebounded the Scarlet Raiders by 15 and maintained control throughout the game.

Stockton sank a season-high 14 three-pointers and led for the last 27 minutes of the contest. The Ospreys led 40-32 at the half and pulled away in the second half, shooting 51.7% from the field and outscoring Rutgers Newark 42-27 for the 82-59 triumph.

Stockton will look to continue their strong play in the upcoming Albright Double Tree Holiday Tournament, starting with a matchup against John Carroll University (Ohio) on December 29, at 4:00 p.m. in Reading, Pa.
