Galloway, N.J. - Stockton University (6-3, 3-2 NJAC) produced its highest point total of the season with a dominant 72-46 victory over Rutgers-Newark (2-9, 0-5 NJAC). After an uneven start, the Ospreys outscored their foes by at least nine points in each of the last three quarters.

Three Ospreys hit double digits, led by
Bre Evans (Neptune/Neptune) with a career-high 21 points. Evans went 8-12 (67%) from the field including a torrid 3-4 from three-point range. The freshman also added four assists and four steals.

Imene Fathi (Wildwood/Wildwood) totaled 11 points, a season-high seven assists, four steals and three rebounds.
Grace Speer (Estell Manor/ACIT) also scored 11 points and tied with
Lauren Winant (Middletown/Middletown South) for the team lead with six rebounds. Winant tossed in eight points.

Madisyn McNair (Hackensack/Hackensack) chipped in with nine points followed by
Sienna Fedoruk (Mt. Laurel/Lenape) with a career-high eight markers. As a team, Stockton hit a season-high nine three-pointers and shot 42.9% (9-21) from beyond the arc.

The Ospreys trailed 17-14 after one quarter but quickly turned things around by doubling Rutgers-Newark 18-9 in the second period behind five points by Fathi on the way to a 32-26 lead at halftime.

The advantage was 51-36 after a 19-10 third quarter that featured seven points by Evans. Stockton put the game away by shooting 52.9% (9-17) and outscoring the Scarlet Raiders 21-10 in the fourth stanza for the 72-46 triumph. Evans pumped in nine more points in the last quarter.

Nicole Timario paced Rutgers-Newark with 14 points and Sanaa Brodie finished with 12 points for the visitors.

Stockton will play once more before the holidays as the Ospreys host McDaniel College on Monday at 4:00 p.m.
