Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University junior Elaina Styer (Estell Manor/Ocean City) was named NJAC Field Athlete of the Week in women's indoor track & field for the week of December 1-7. Styer collected her third career NJAC weekly award. She was chosen NJAC Track Athlete of the Week and NJAC Field Athlete of the Week once each last year.
 
Styer, the reigning NJAC Outstanding Field Athlete for indoor track & field, compiled an impressive list of results while competing in three events at the Fastrack Season Opener on December 5.
 
Styer finished second out of 30 in the long jump with a personal best leap of 5.50 meters and second out of 15 in the high jump by clearing a top height of 1.55 meters. She also placed fourth out of 26 in the 60m hurdles with a time that tied her school record from last year (9.03 seconds).
 
The next meet for the Stockton women's track & field team will be the Gotham Cup at Ocean Breeze on January 16.
