Dallas, Pa. - Stockton University (2-0) held Misericordia (0-1) scoreless for a 33-minute span and went on to a 17-8 victory on Saturday afternoon. The Ospreys did not allow a goal from the 11:18 mark of the first quarter until 7:51 of the third period.

Connor Albrecht (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks West) led Stockton with four goals and one assist for five points.
Gage Parker (Gilbertsville, Pa/Boyertown) netted a career-high three goals while
Robbie O'Brien (Springfield, Pa./Springfield-Delco) added a goal and two assists.

Daniel Amores (West Caldwell/Caldwell) scored twice for the Ospreys. Freshman
Ty Thermann (Spring Lake Hts./Manasquan) won 15 of 24 faceoffs and snagged a game-high six ground balls. Stockton outshot Misericordia 45-25 in the match.

The Ospreys fell behind 2-1 in the first four minutes before reeling off nine straight goals while holding the Cougars scoreless for the next 33:27. Albrecht led the run with two goals and an assist, and freshman
Noah Russ (Mt. Olive/Mt. Olive) potted his first career goal.

The 9-0 run gave Stockton a 10-2 lead in the third quarter. Misericordia tallied three straight markers to make it 10-5 before Parker and Albrecht ended the run with goals 1:01 apart for a 12-5 lead after three periods. The Ospreys led by at least six for the entire fourth quarter and captured the 17-8 triumph.
