Center Valley, PA – Stockton University (3-0) captured their third consecutive victory with a 14-11 decision over DeSales University (0-3) on Saturday afternoon.
Alex DeLierre (Basking Ridge/Bridgewater-Raritan) led the offense with three goals on the day.

Stockton started quickly tallying the first three markers of the game, by DeLierre,
Ethan Fought (Bridgewater/Bridgewater-Raritan) and
Gage Parker (Gilbertsville, PA/Boyertown). The Bulldogs responded in a hurry with three scores in a span of 3:07 to knot the game at 3-3, before DeLierre, on an assist from
Connor Albrecht (Doylestown, PA/Central Bucks West), hit the net for the second time and a 4-3 lead after one frame.

The Ospreys scored five of the nine goals in the high scoring second period to forge a 9-7 lead at the break. DeLierre completed his hat trick and was joined by
David Jagiello (Oak Ridge/Pope John XXIII), Parker and a pair by
Steven Woolery (Media, PA/Penncrest). It weas Jagiello's second career tally.

The teams split the third period with each scoring twice, as Albrecht and freshman
Noah Williams (Matthews, NC/Weddington) hit the back of the net. It was the rookie's first career goal.

Stockton finished off the 14-11 victory with three more goals in the final period. Micheal Hoey (Springfield, PA/Springfield Delco) scored his first career goal, before Jack Vandergrift (Jenkintown, PA/LaSalle College Prep) scored once and dished an assist on a
Daniel Amores (West Caldwell/James Caldwell) marker to finish the scoring.

Vandergrift added a goal and two helpers for three points, with goalkeeper
Ben Blum (Mt. Laurel/Lenape) making a career-high 17 saves and scooping five ground balls to lead the defense

For the Bulldogs, Jack Hurd scored three goals and added an assist for four points. Anthony Gash won 18-25 (72.0%) of the faceoffs and topped all players with 12 ground balls. Goalkeeper Nolan Chiulli made six saves in net.

Stockton will play their fourth of five straight road games to start the season, next Saturday March 1st at Haverford, PA to facer the Fords. Game time is scheduled for 12 pm.
