3/13/2025 11:56:00 AM

Galloway, N.J. – Nine Stockton University track & field competitors earned a total of 16 All-Metro Region honors from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for the 2024-25 indoor season. To qualify, competitors needed to post a mark that ranked in the top five in the region in an individual event or top three in a relay.

Five of the nine Ospreys produced multiple all-region accolades, including a pair Stockton competitors who earned three all-region awards apiece. Elaina Styer (Estell Manor/Ocean City) led the way with all-region recognition in three individual events, the 60m hurdles, pentathlon and high jump.

Styer recorded the top performances in the Metro Region in the pentathlon and high jump (1.66m). The sophomore set school records in the pentathlon (3,628 pts) and 60m hurdles (9.03 seconds). Styer will compete in the pentathlon at the NCAA Division III Championships tomorrow.

Kayla Kass (Bayonne/Bayonne) was all-region in the 800m, 4x400 relay and distance medley relay to join Styer with a trio of honors. The junior posted the top 800m time in the Metro Region (2:11.52) and qualified for the NCAA Championships, where she will compete tomorrow.

Ahmad Fogg (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) compiled all-region recognition in the long jump and triple jump in his first season at Stockton. The sophomore, who transferred from Penn State, notched the best long jump in the Metro Region (7.17m) and finished in a tie for 25th in NCAA Division III in the long jump and triple jump (14.31m).

Emma Petrolia (New Milford/New Milford) snagged a pair of all-region awards, qualifying individually in the triple jump (11.33m) and as a member of the 4x400 relay team that set a school record (3:58.38) along with Kass, Kayla Sullivan (Manahawkin/Delaware Valley) and Emma Conroy (Matawan/Matawan).

Kass, Sullivan, Amanda McNally (Tabernacle/Seneca) and Maddy Valasek (Medford/Shawnee) were Stockton's all-region foursome in the distance medley relay with time that was a school record and the best in the Meto Region (12:02.70).

Eva Morrison (Northfield/Mainland), a junior and transfer from Frostburg State who is in her first season at Stockton, rounded out the Osprey honorees with an all-region nod in the pole vault (3.48m).
