Aston, Pa. – Stockton University (7-5) rolled to a pair of wins over Neumann University (0-14) by scores of 8-0 and 9-2. The Ospreys scored 17 runs on 27 hits while Stockton pitchers allowed the Knights to score in just one of the 14 innings during the sweep.
Nerina Tramp (Blackwood/Highland) pitched a two-hit shutout with eight strikeouts in the opener. Tramp retired the first 15 batters that she faced, taking a perfect game into the sixth inning before a leadoff single by Neumann.
Megan Sears (Oakland/Indian Hills) led the offense by going 3-4 with a double, three runs and an RBI.
Emma Coldsnow (Yorktown, Va./Tabb),
Casey Sokol (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) and
Brianna Segnello (Mt. Olive/Mt. Olive) added two hits apiece.
In the top of the first, Coldsnow and Sears both rapped RBI doubles while Sokol stroked an RBI single that scored Sears as Stockton jumped out to a 4-0 lead. Sokol singled home Sears again during a two-run third frame that made it 6-0, and the Ospreys cruised to the 8-0 shutout.
Caitlin Cetrulo (Caldwell/Caldwell) led a 15-hit onslaught in the nightcap by going 3-3 with two RBI. Coldsnow and
Regan Mendick (Newark, Del./Red Lion Christian) contributed two hits apiece and each scored a run. Overall, 11 Ospreys registered at least one hit in the game.
An RBI double by Coldsnow and an RBI single by Cetrulo highlighted a three-run first inning. In the third frame,
Alexa Panagopoylos (Atco/Hammonton) doubled home Sears and then scored on an RBI single by Sokol that made it 5-0.
Neumann got on the board with two runs in the bottom half, but Stockton pulled away with one run in the fifth frame and three more in the seventh, which featured the second pinch-hit RBI single of the day by freshman

Lexi Liquori (Union/Union) did not allow any earned runs in the 9-2 win. Liquori tossed a three-hitter and tied her career high with six strikeouts. Both Neumann runs against the sophomore were unearned.
After a busy week of four away doubleheaders in seven days, Stockton will have a week off before traveling to NYU on March 22 for a twinbill that starts at 1:00 p.m.
