Grantham, Pa. – Stockton University (6-4) topped Messiah University (2-6) 12-8 for its second straight win and third in the last four games. The Ospreys took the lead for good with three goals in a 28-second span of the second quarter.
Gage Parker (Gilbertsville, Pa./Boyertown) tied his career high with three goals while
Nick Grande (Hunterdon/North Hunterdon) and
Connor Albrecht (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks West) netted two goals apiece.
Stockton trailed 3-2 before goals by
Tommy Vandegrift (Abington/LaSalle College Prep),
Hunter VanZant (Lincoln Park/Boonton) and
Riley Burns (Mullica Hill/Clearview) in a span of 28 seconds vaulted the Ospreys in front 5-3.
Grande later scored the last goal of the first half and first goal of the second half for a 7-4 advantage. Stockton put the game away with four unanswered markers, including two by Parker, for a 12-6 lead with 8:23 remaining on the way to the 12-8 triumph.

Ben Blum (Mt. Laurel/Lenape) made 10 saves and
Chris Funston (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks East) sparked the defense with four ground balls and a team-high three caused turnovers.
Bobby Berg paced Messiah with three goals and two assists for a game-high five points followed by Owen Hammel with two goals.
Stockton will host Arcadia University on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
