Immaculata, Pa. – Stockton University (12-6) extended its winning streak to four with a pair of shutouts against Immaculata University (7-11). The Ospreys took the opener 6-0 and then completed the sweep 13-0 in five innings.
Nerina Tramp (Blackwood/Highland) pitched a four-hit shutout with 10 strikeouts in the first game.
Emma Coldsnow (Yorktown, Pa./Tabb) went 2-3 with a double and three RBI while
Megan Sears (Oakland/Indian Hills) was 2-4 with a run and an RBI.
Coldsnow sparked Stockton to an early 3-0 lead with an RBI single in the first inning and a two-run double in the second frame. The Ospreys added a run on an RBI single by
Caitlin Cetrulo (Caldwell/Caldwell) in the fourth frame and scored twice more in the sixth for the 6-0 final.
Lexi Liquori (Union/Union) and
Casey Sokol (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) combined on a one-hit shutout in the nightcap. Liquori fanned seven batters in four scoreless innings, then Sokol struck out three and walked one in the fifth frame.
McKenna George (Centennial, Colo./Eaglecrest) went 3-3 with four runs, three stolen bases and two RBI. Coldsnow was 2-3 with a home run, three runs and three RBI.
Alexa Panagopoylos (Atco/Hammonton) and
Emily Spencer (Southampton/Seneca) each rapped two hits, including a double.
Charli Czaczkowski (Jackson/Jackson Memorial) slugged a three-run homer to cap an explosion of 10 runs by the Ospreys in the first inning.
Stockton will begin NJAC play with a doubleheader at Montclair State on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
