Galloway, NJ – Stockton University (3-1) took control of a tight game in the second quarter, downing Farmingdale State (0-3) by a score of 15-7 on Saturday afternoon.
Julia Gibson (Cape May Point/Lower Cape May) posted her best game as an Osprey with four goals and four assists for eight points.

Stockton held a slim 3-2 advantage after one frame as
Madison MacGillivray (Forked River/Lacey Twp.), freshman
Billie Ormsby (Maple Shade/Maple Shade) and Gibson gave Stockton the one goal lead. It was Ormsby's first career goal.

The Ospreys took control of the contest in the second period, tallying five of the six goals for a commanding 8-3 lead at the break.
Margot Costello (South Brunswick/South Brunswick) highlighted the scoring with two of the five markers.

The home team kept up the pressure in the third period with four goals, two by Gibson, for a 13-6 margin, heading into the final period. Stockton closed out the game, outscoring the Rams 3-2 to set the final score at 15-7.

Costello added three goals on the day while
Gina Marotta (Montville/Montville) paced the defense with career-highs of eight draw controls and six ground balls, to go with four caused turnovers.

Jordan Czaczkowski (Jackson/Jackson Memorial) made four saves in net for the victory.

For the Rams, Jules Loughran scored three goals with one helper for four points. Goalkeeper Giavanna Stamatelo kicked out 13 shots in net.

Stockton will play three times next week, starting with a road tilt on Monday against Marywood University in Scranton, PA. Game time is set for 2 pm.
