Ewing, N.J. - Stockton University (13-9, 1-3 NJAC) suffered a pair of excruciating walkoff defeats at The College of New Jersey (11-11, 3-1 NJAC) by scores of 3-2 and 6-5 in eight innings. Junior outfielder
Caitlin Cetrulo (Caldwell/Caldwell) hit her first two career home runs, one in each game.

Cetrulo slugged a solo homer in the first game for her first long ball in her 62nd college game.
Emily Spencer (Southampton/Seneca) went 1-3 with an RBI while
Emma Coldsnow (Yorktown, Va./Tabb) reached base twice with a single and hit by pitch.

Cetrulo tied the game 1-1 with her home run in the top of the fifth, but TCNJ scored once in the bottom half for a 2-1 edge. Spencer delivered the tying run with a bunt single for an RBI in the sixth frame for a 2-2 deadlock.

The decisive run came across on an error in the bottom of the seventh as Stockton fell 3-2.
Nerina Tramp (Blackwood/Highland) pitched a complete game, allowing just one earned run (two unearned) with six strikeouts and no walks.

In the nightcap,
McKenna George (Centennial, Colo./Eaglecrest) went 2-5 with a double, home run, two runs and an RBI while Cetrulo was 2-3 with a homer and two RBI.

Stockton broke out to a 3-0 lead in the top of the first as
Charli Czaczkowski (Jackson/Jackson Memorial) ripped an RBI double and Cetrulo and
Alexa Panagopoylos (Atco/Hammonton) added RBI singles. After the Lions got two runs in the bottom half, George made it 4-2 with a solo homer in the second frame.

TCNJ pulled ahead 5-4 with one run apiece in the second, fourth and sixth innings. The Ospreys were down to their final two outs, but Cetrulo tied the game in the top of the seventh with her second home run of the day.

Stockton came up empty in the top of the eighth and the Lions ended the game with a run in the bottom half to down the Ospreys by one again, 6-5.

Stockton will host Rutgers-Newark in an NJAC doubleheader on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
