Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University (19-11, 7-5 NJAC) dominated Rutgers-Camden (4-25, 2-10 NJAC) in a pair of run-rule shutouts, 8-0 in six innings and 12-0 in five innings. Stockton head coach

In the first game,
Emily Spencer (Southampton/Seneca) went 3-4 with two RBI,
Caitlin Cetrulo (Caldwell/Caldwell) went 2-4 with two runs and two RBI and
Brianna Segnello (Mt. Olive/Mt. Olive) was 2-3 with a triple, run and an RBI.
Cetrulo and
Alexa Panagopoylos (Atco/Hammonton) stroked RBI singles in the first inning for a 2-0 lead. A two-run single by Spencer in the fourth frame doubled the lead to 4-0.
Madison Manera (Clayton/Clayton) singled home Segnello in the fifth inning for a 5-0 advantage.
Stockton clinched the 8-0 win in the bottom of the sixth. Cetrulo rapped an RBI single and later scored on a Rutgers-Camden error. Segnello sliced an RBI triple into the left field corner to walk off the 8-0 triumph.
Nerina Tramp (Blackwood/Highland) pitched her fifth shutout of the season. Tramp allowed just four hits and struck out seven without walking a batter for her 10th win of the year.
Maggie Formichelli (Bensalem, Pa./Bensalem) went 2-3 with four stolen bases, three RBI and two runs in the nightcap. Panagopoylos added two hits, one run and one RBI for the Ospreys.
The game was scoreless into the bottom of the third until Formichelli led off with a single, stole two bases and scored on a sacrifice bunt by Manera for a 1-0 edge. Stockton broke the game open with 11 runs in the bottom of the fourth.

Regan Mendick (Newark, Del./Red Lion Christian) ripped a two-run double and Panagopoylos contributed an RBI single during the huge inning that propelled the Ospreys to the 12-0 triumph.
Starter
Mia Barone (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy) extended her shutout streak to 10 consecutive innings with four scoreless frames in which she allowed just one hit with three strikeouts and one walk.
Casey Sokol (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) struck out two batters in the fifth frame to complete the combined shutout.
Ryleigh Lender paced Rutgers-Camden with three hits and a stolen base in the doubleheader.
Stockton will travel to Swarthmore College for a non-conference twinbill on Thursday at 3:00 p.m.
