Chester, Pa. – Stockton University competed in the Paul Donohue Invitational at Widener University on Saturday. Stockton's day was highlighted by a pair of runner-up finishes at the large meet, which included over 100 competitors in some events.
Chris Griffin (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) finished second out of 25 throwers in the javelin (56.00m) and
Josh Corsentino (Brick/Brick Memorial) was second out of 18 runners in the 10,000m (32:23.91).
Ahmad Fogg (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) placed third out of 19 in the triple jump (14.36m) and fourth out of 52 in the long jump (6.89m).
Carson Latham (Bordentown/Bordentown) finished sixth out of 109 sprinters in the 100m (10.92 seconds) and 16th out of 128 in the 200m (22.22 seconds).
Latham also joined
Cruz Lewis (Egg Harbor Twp./Atlantic Christian),
Devante Greene (Pennsauken/Pennsauken) and
Eduardo Ruiz-Giuseppi (Flemington/Hunterdon Central) for fourth place out of 14 teams in the 4x100 relay (42.68 seconds).
Stockton will compete in the TCNJ Lions Invitational on April 25-26.
