Stockton Hosts Osprey Open

Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University hosted the Osprey Open at G. Larry James Stadium on Friday and Saturday. The meet featured teams from NCAA Division III and the junior college ranks as well as several Stockton Track & Field alumni. The Ospreys won eight events.
 
Stockton's Top Performers:
Johnathan Holden (Waretown/Southern Regional) won the 110m hurdles (15.31 seconds) and 400m hurdles (57.14 seconds).
Bryant Nelson (Millville/Millville) won the triple jump and moved into ninth in the nation (14.40m). Nelson also finished second in the high jump (1.86m).
Ahmad Fogg (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) won the long jump and moved into 12th in the nation (7.01m).
Joey Addeo (Woolwich/GCIT) won the 3000m steeplechase (10:09.95).
Wade Olivo (Washington Twp./Washington Twp.) won the 10,000m (39:31.91).
 
Shane Daley (Galloway/Absegami), Josh Barreiro (Vineland/Vineland), Landon Jenter (Voorhees/Eastern Regional) and James Adams (South Plainfield) won the 4x400 relay (3:32.66). Daley also finished second in the 400m (50.71 seconds).
Jenter, Patrick Storti (Cinnaminson/Cinnaminson), Ethan Kinch (Port Monmouth/Middletown North) and Zach Hutchinson (Ocean City/Ocean City) won the 4x800 relay (8:22.88).
 
Chris Griffin (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) finished second in the javelin (54.38m).
Brayden Cisney (Shade Gap, Pa./Southern Huntingdon) finished second in the pole vault (3.80m).
Joe Franzello (Cape May/Lower Cape May) finished second in the shot put (13.78m).
 
Daley, Jacob Bittle (Sicklerville/Paul VI), Anthony McCullough (Hi-Nella/Sterling) and Eduardo Ruiz-Giuseppi (Flemington/Hunterdon Central) finished second in the 4x200 relay (1:28.31).
Conner Auge (Williamstown/GCIT), Lewis Iannucci (Merchantville/Haddon Hts.), JackEdward Schmick (Vernon/Sussex Co. Tech) and Mike Cordiano (Toms River/TR North) finished second in the 4x800 relay (8:26.12).
