Ewing, N.J. – Stockton University competed in the two-day TCNJ Lions Invitational on Friday and Saturday. The Ospreys produced a pair of runner-up finishes at the meet, which featured teams from all three NCAA divisions, primarily from New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York.
Ahmad Fogg (Egg Harbor Twp/EHT) finished second behind a Division I competitor from Monmouth University out of 40 in the long jump (7.03m).
Chris Griffin (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) was the top college performer in the javelin (57.40m), placing second out of 21 behind an unattached thrower.
Carson Latham (Bordentown/Bordentown) finished sixth out of 65 sprinters in the 100m (10.89 seconds) and seventh out of 60 in the 200m (21.81 seconds).
Joseph deBeaumont (Blackwood/Highland) placed sixth out of 68 in the 800m (1:55.49) and
Johnathan Holden (Waretown/Southern Regional) was eighth out of 18 in the 400m hurdles (56.84 seconds).
The Ospreys will return to TCNJ next weekend for the NJAC Championships on May 3-4.
