Saratoga Springs, N.Y. - Stockton University rowed in rainy conditions and 5-10 mph headwinds at the Skidmore Sprints in upstate New York. The varsity eight finished sixth in a competitive field that included two highly-ranked teams.
 
The Ospreys posted a time of 8:08 and placed behind #3 Williams, #8 Wellesley, Skidmore, Middlebury and Vassar.
 
Stockton also finished fifth in the second varsity eight with a time of 8:26 that trailed Williams, Wellesley, Skidmore and Middlebury.
 
Stockton will compete much closer to home next weekend when the Ospreys row in the Knecht Cup at Cooper River Park in Pennsauken, N.J. on April 12-13.
