Reading, Pa. – Stockton University (4-4) scored three goals in a seven-minute span of the fourth quarter to rally for a 3-1 victory at Alvernia University (2-5). The Ospreys were down by one with 12 minutes to play prior to the late offensive explosion.
Brooke Ruiz (Voorhees/Eastern Regional) tied the game with her third goal of the season, which came with 11:17 remaining.
Jessica Bruther (Manahawkin/Southern Regional) potted the eventual game-winner less than four minutes later with an assist by
Carlee Thompson (Gibbsboro/Eastern Regional).
Just 2:51 after Stockton took the lead,
Kirsten Bailey (Burlington Twp./Burlington Twp.) added the clincher by converting a penalty stroke for her fourth goal of the season, sealing the 3-1 triumph with 4:49 on the clock.

Erika Roura (Mt. Laurel/Lenape) made four saves in the victory. Stockton outshot the Golden Wolves 15-9 in the game, including 13 shots on goal.
Alvernia goalie Jazmin Mayfield recorded nine saves and Ava Michael scored in the first quarter to give the home team a 1-0 edge that lasted until the last 12 minutes of the game.
Stockton returns home to host Widener University on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
