Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University opened the 2025-26 season by hosting Arcadia and Kean in a tri-match at Blue Heron Pines Golf Club. The Ospreys posted a team score of 431 and finished second behind Kean. Five of the six Stockton golfers who competed were playing their first college event.
 
Elenora Byrne (Princeton Junction/West Windsor-Plainsboro North), Stockton's lone returning letter winner, topped the field of 18 with an 83. Byrne made two birdies and two pars on the way to a 42 on the front nine. She followed with a birdie and three pars en route to a 41 on the back nine.
 
Freshman Sophia Mazowski (Vineland/Vineland) finished seventh with a 108 and fellow rookie Zoe Grom (Stony Point, NY/North Rockland) placed 11th with a 116. Nataly Castro completed Stockton's top four with a 124 for 14th place.
 
Kylie Hague (Vineland/Vineland) finished 16th with a 126 followed by Ellen Hartshaw (Lehighton, Pa./King's Christian) in 17th with a 129.
 
Stockton will compete next in the Northampton Cup, hosted by Albright College at Northampton Country Club on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m.
