Richboro, Pa. – Stockton University played its second tournament in three days and finished seventh at the Northampton Cup, which was hosted by Albright College at Northampton Valley Country Club. Six Ospreys played as part of the field of 39 golfers from eight teams.
 
Elenora Byrne (Princeton Junction/West Windsor-Plainsboro South) led Stockton by finishing seventh out of 39 with an 86. Byrne made two pars and shot a 44 on the front nine. Bolstered by four pars on the back nine, the senior fired a 42.
 
Zoe Grom (Stony Point, N.Y./North Rockland) tied for 25th with a 114 that was a two-stroke improvement over her inaugural college round, which came on Sunday. Grom made one par and shot a 53 on the front nine.
 
Stockton teammates Kylie Hague (Vineland/Vineland), Nataly Castro (Galloway/Absegami) and Sophia Mazowski (Vineland/Vineland) all tied for 29th place with matching scores of 122. Hague and Castro improved by four and two strokes respectively over their first college round on Sunday.
 
Stockton's next tournament will be the Rowan College South Jersey-Cumberland Dukes Fall Invitational at Running Deer Golf Club next Tuesday, September 30 at 2:00 p.m.
