McNally Selected for NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship

3/18/2026 10:00:00 AM

Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University graduate student Amanda McNally (Tabernacle/Seneca) was selected as one of 42 fall-sport student-athletes to receive an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship. McNally competed in cross country and track & field for Stockton during the 2024-25 academic year.

McNally was selected from the pool of applicants based on a combination of her academic and athletic success at Stockton. She will receive a one-time award of $10,000, which will go toward her graduate studies as she pursues a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Stockton.

Established in 1964, the NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship program promotes and encourages graduate education by recognizing the Association's most accomplished student-athletes. Each year, the NCAA awards 126 postgraduate scholarships to student-athletes who have completed their final year of competition. The scholarships are distributed three times annually — in the fall, winter and spring.

McNally joined former track & field teammate Michaela Pomatto as NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship recipients from Stockton. Pomatto was chosen for the grant last year.

McNally competed for Stockton in cross country, indoor track & field and outdoor track & field during the 2024-25 academic year after transferring from Rowan University. During the fall, she earned NJAC Second Team and USTFCCCA All-Region honors in cross country while helping Stockton to third place at the NJAC Championships and sixth place at the NCAA Regionals.

McNally then competed in track & field for Stockton at seven indoor meets in the winter followed by seven outdoor meets during the spring. She primarily ran the 800m but also competed in the mile, 1000m, 1500m and distance medley relay.

McNally ran a leg for the distance medley relay that won the NJAC title and qualified for NJAC First Team and USTFCCCA All-Region accolades for the indoor season.
