Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University hosted the annual Osprey Open on campus and finished fourth out of 15 teams with a score of 100. Three Stockton runners placed in the top 20 out of 125 competitors.
 
Evelynn Austin (Sparta/Pope John XXIII) was the top finisher for the Ospreys in 13th place with a time of 23:46.2 for six kilometers. Sarah Rutledge (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) came in three seconds later at 23:49.1, a personal best by 32 seconds, for 15th place.
 
Madison Pratt (Galloway/Absegami) was the third Stockton runner in the top 20 as she finished 20th with a 16-second personal best of 24:03.3. Sophia Cornell (New Tripoli, Pa./Northwestern Lehigh) placed 29th at 24:37.5 and Guinevere Kennedy (South Amboy/South Amboy) was 31st in 24:40.9.
 
After three races in 16 days, Stockton will have nearly two weeks before competing in the Paul Short Run at Lehigh University on October 2.
