Ewing, N.J. – Stockton University won their second straight meet as the Ospreys took the top spot out of six teams in the Herb Lorenz Invitational hosted by The College of New Jersey. Stockton's score of 17 easily distanced TCNJ, Holy Family, Brooklyn, Caldwell and FDU-Florham.
 
Stockton runners claimed the top four spots and five of the first seven in the 54-runner field. Evelynn Austin (Hackettstown/Pope John XXIII) dominated the race, finishing five kilometers in 19:26.2 and winning by 26 seconds for her second straight victory.
 
Sarah Rutledge (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) was the runner-up at 19:52.1 followed by Madison Pratt (Galloway/Absegami) in third place (19:52.2) and Grace Wojciechowski (Marlton/Cherokee) in fourth (20:12.1).
 
Guinevere Kennedy (South Amboy/South Amboy) made it five Ospreys in the top seven by finishing seventh with a time of 20:22.1. Paige McCabe (Moorestown/Moorestown) also clocked a top-10 finish as she placed ninth (20:26.1).
 
Next weekend, Stockton will host the Osprey Open on their campus course on September 19 at 11:15 a.m.
