Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University juniors
Ahmad Fogg (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) and
Elaina Styer (Estell Manor/Ocean City) were voted USTFCCCA Metro Region Men's Field Athlete of the Year and USTFCCCA Metro Region Women's Field Athlete of the Year respectively by the
United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
Fogg and Styer brought Stockton's total of regional Athletes of the Year to four (Shahyan Abraham 2023,
Kayla Kass 2025). The duo each earned All-American honors at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships on March 13-14.
Fogg added the Metro Region Men's Field Athlete of the Year award to First Team All-American in the long jump and Second Team All-American in the triple jump plus NJAC Most Outstanding Athlete and NJAC First Team and USTFCCCA All-Region accolades in the long jump and triple jump.
Fogg finished second in the long jump and 10th in the triple jump at the NCAA Championships after winning both events at the NJAC Championships. He set a school record of 7.54 meters in the long jump, breaking the mark of 7.53 meters by Greg Foster that had stood since 1988.
Styer collected a First Team All-America nod in the pentathlon in addition to NJAC Most Outstanding Athlete, NJAC First Team in the pentathlon and USTFCCCA All-Region in five events (60m hurdles, high jump, long jump, pentathlon, 4x400 relay) prior to her Metro Region Women's Field Athlete of the Year award.
Styer finished second in the pentathlon at the NCAA Championships after winning the event at the NJAC Championships. During the season, she set school records in the pentathlon (3,765 points) and 60m hurdles (8.67 seconds).
