Galloway, NJ – The game, played in beautiful weather, featured 21 hits by both squads.
How it Happened:
The Pacers scored four times in the second inning before Stockton responded with three markers in the bottom of the frame. The Ospreys tied the contest at 5-5 after four innings, before Marywood added single runs in the fifth and seventh frames, before salting the game with a five spot in the eight.
The Ospreys tacked on three more runs but could get no closer in the 12-8 defeat.
For Stockton:
Liam Schwinn (West Chester, PA/Henderson) had three hits, scored three times, and drove in three runs.
Yenuelle Rodriguez (Vineland/Vineland) and
Sal Cassano (Matawan/Matawan) both had two safeties.
Jimmy Casey (Newtown, PA/Archbishop Wood) and Cassano scored twice.
Schwinn and Rodriguez pilfered two bags each.
For Marywood:
Mike Biskup, Cam Bott, and Nick Ruiz had two hits each.
