Galloway, NJ – Stockton University (8-22, 4-8 NJAC) exploded for 12 runs in the first innings and ran away with a 23-7 victory over Rutgers-Camden (15-17, 7-5 NJAC) on Friday afternoon. The teams split their home-and home series for the year.
For Stockton
Nick Avagnano (Paramus/Paramus) had career-highs with six hits and seven RBI in the game. His seven runs batted in, giving him 119 RBI, breaking the Stockton career record of 115 RBI set by Matt Allen (2007-10).

Freshman
Nick Kowalewski (Point Pleasant/Point Pleasant Boro) had his second straight fine outing with 6.0 innings, allowing just one hit and earned his second win of the year.
How it Happened
The Ospreys sent 17 batters to the plate in the first inning, scoring 12 runs. They added five more in the second frame and cruised home from there in the blowout win.
For Rutgers-Camden:
Five different Scarlet Raptors had one hit each, with six players scoring one run each.
