Chester, Pa. – Stockton University attended its final meet before the NCAA Championships as 11 Ospreys competed in a total of seven events at the Widener Final Qualifier.
Stockton's Top Performers:
Emma Petrolia (New Milford/New Milford) solidified her place in the NCAA Championships by moving up from 21st to ninth in the nation in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:00.89 that broke her own school record. Petrolia won out of 12 runners in the event.
Eva Morrison (Northfield/Mainland) finished second out of 10 in the pole vault (3.60m).
Kayla Kass (Bayonne/Bayonne) placed 10th out of 57 runners in the 800m (2:10.52). The time was just nine hundredths of a second off her season best that ranks 17th in the nation.
Jessica Bruther (Manahawkin/Southern Regional) recorded a personal best of 2:20.86 in the 800.
