Overview
Stockton Women's Lacrosse went 11-6 overall in 2026 for their fourth straight season with at least 11 victories under the coaching of Denise Roessler. The Ospreys finished third in the NJAC with a 3-2 conference record, earned the No. 3 seed for the NJAC Tournament and came within 50 seconds of the program's first NJAC Tournament victory in a non-COVID year.
 
Eleven players saw action in all 17 games, with 10 starting every contest. Of the 29 players on the roster, 17 were freshmen or sophomores. The youngsters joined a strong group of upperclassmen, some of whom left a significant imprint on the Stockton women's lacrosse record book.
 
The Ospreys led the NJAC in man-up goals (2.06/game) and shots on goal (22.53/game). Stockton finished second in the conference in assists per game (7.06), points per game (20.47), ground balls per game (20.76) and draw controls per game (12.18) while ranking third in goals per game (13.41) and goals against average (9.73).

Highlights

• Brielle Soltys finished 19th in NCAA Division III in caused turnovers per game (3.00) and 36th in ground balls per game (4.12) on the way to winning two Rookie of the Year awards. The midfielder led the NJAC in ground balls and finished second in caused turnovers, fourth in draw controls (3.82/game), seventh in assists (1.12/game) and 10th in points (3.06/game).
• Soltys contributed offensively as well, tying for the team lead in assists (19) and finishing second on the Ospreys in goals (33) and points (52). She set school records for ground balls in a season (70) plus draw controls (14 vs. Farmingdale State on 3/14/26) and caused turnovers (9 vs. Neumann on 2/17/26) in a game.
• Isabella Marinello had a season filled with milestones for the top offensive player on the Ospreys. The attack became Stockton's career leader in goals (138) and points (202) as well as the first Osprey in the program's 13-year history to reach the 200-point mark.
• Marinello finished seventh in the NJAC in goals (2.53/game) and points (3.53/game) as well as 10th in assists (1.00/game). The senior topped the team in goals (43) and points (60). Marinello tied her own school record for points in a game (10) and moved into a tie for second in Stockton history in career assists (64).
• Gina Marotta was rewarded with postseason accolades for her stellar defensive play. The senior finished fourth in the conference in ground balls (3.18/game) and 10th in draw controls (2.76/game). Marotta's 54 ground balls were the second most ever at Stockton behind only Soltys with 70 this year.
• Marotta started all 67 games that she played in four seasons at Stockton and finished her career second in program history in ground balls (157), third in caused turnovers (79) and sixth in draw controls (122).
• Madison MacGillivray tied for the team lead in assists (19) and finished third in points (45) while potting 26 goals. MacGillivray finished sixth in the NJAC in assists (1.19/game). She tied the school record with 10 points against Marywood on February 28.
• Julia Gibson contributed offensively in her senior year with 22 goals and 17 assists (3rd on the team) for 39 points. Gibson tied for ninth in the NJAC in assists per game (1.00). She ended her career at Stockton seventh in school history with 105 points.
• Aubrey Giordano came back after two years away from the team to bolster the offense. Despite missing five games, Giordano tied for third on the Ospreys with 28 goals and dealt six assists for 34 points. She scored at least four goals in a game three times.
• Veteran Brianna Robinson provided steady all-around play in her fourth season. Robinson tied for second on the team in caused turnovers (22) and added 28 ground balls, eight goals and two assists for 10 points while starting every game.
• Freshman Maisy Mosier had a tremendous rookie season, tying Giordano for third on the team with 28 goals and adding four assists for 32 points. Mosier finished second on the team in draw controls (48) and third in ground balls (30). She ranked ninth in the NJAC in draw controls (2.82/game).
• Fellow frosh Allie Prickett scored 18 goals with 10 assists for 28 points and also grabbed 22 ground balls. Stockton also received offensive contributions from seniors Shyanne Nucifora (4 goals,12 assists, 16 points) and Anissa Serafine (6 goals, 6 assists, 12 points),
• Kayla Dever (18 GB, 7 CT) and Kasey O'Neill (17 GB, 11 CT) each started all 17 games on defense. Billie Ormsby chipped in with 16 ground balls and 10 caused turnovers as a key reserve off the bench. Freshman Maren Woodman started all 12 games that she played and tallied 13 ground balls.
• Jordan Czaczkowski started all 17 games in net and played 759 minutes. Czaczkowski made 93 saves and posted a .406 save percentage that was third in the NJAC. She finished her career fourth in program history in saves (185), goals against average (9.87) and save percentage (.400).
• Freshman Abbey Schaeffer came off the bench in 10 games and made 17 saves while posting an 8.52 goals against average in 183 minutes of play. Schaeffer made a career-high 11 saves against Haverford on March 7.
