Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University hosted the annual Osprey Open on campus and finished fourth out of 15 teams with a score of 84. A pair of Stockton runners led the way with top-10 finishes.
 
Sam Szczepanski (Chester/Mendham) placed seventh out of 151 runners with a time of 26:00.7 for eight kilometers. James Clauson (Haddon Twp./Haddon Twp.) crossed the line 11 seconds later at 26:11.1 for ninth place.
 
Owen Bergen (Brick/Brick Twp.) finished 27th with a 12-second personal best of 27:13.1 and Patrick Storti (Cinnaminson/Cinnaminson) placed 35th with a time of 27:39.5. Conner Auge (Williamstown/GCIT) was the fifth Osprey as he finished 39th at 27:55.3.
 
After three races in 16 days, Stockton will have nearly two weeks before competing in the Paul Short Run at Lehigh University on October 2.
