Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University (1-4-3) started a four-game homestand with a 1-0 setback to 16th-ranked and undefeated Catholic University (6-0). The game was Stockton's second of the season against a ranked opponent.

Cole Butler (Marlton/Cherokee) made his fifth consecutive start and finished with two saves. Butler has allowed just one goal in the last 200 minutes of game action.
Stockton played the #16 Cardinals evenly for the majority of the game. The match was scoreless for more than 71 minutes until The Cardinals capitalized on an opportunity as Michael Brown scored with 18:42 remaining in regulation. The tally broke Butler's 181-minute shutout streak.
Stockton generated nine corner kicks and two shots on goal in the match.
Stockton will host Penn State Abington on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
